In 2021, Pru Life UK, through Prudence Foundation, Prudential’s community investment arm in Asia and Africa, has contributed about Php 8 million from its Prudential COVID-19 relief fund to provide quality medical-grade equipment and supplies such as ventilators, unit oxygen concentrators, infusion, and syringe pumps, and equip healthcare workers who are deployed to assist COVID-19 patients of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).
PGH currently serves as one of the primary COVID-19 referral hospitals in the Philippines. Being the biggest modern government tertiary hospital in the country and the only national referral center for tertiary care, PGH has a healthcare force of 4,000 staff servicing approximately 600,000 patients, mostly indigent Filipinos, annually.
In July 2020, Pru Life UK donated Php 5 million to PGHMFI as part of the Prudential COVID-19 relief fund in the previous year.

In 2017, Pru Life UK also donated three portable ultrasound machines to Alalay sa Kaunlaran Foundation to aid the social non-government organization’s medical missions in underserved communities in remote areas, including Aurora, Quezon.
